Job summary

EY is seeking a Data and Cloud Engineering Manager to turn data and AI capabilities into scalable, reliable production solutions. You will own workstreams, client interactions, budgets, and engagement economics while leading technical talent and delivering high-availability cloud data platforms using Azure, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• Typically, no less than 4 - 6 years of relevant experience.
• Proven track record operating High Availability services on Azure (4+ years).
• Experience with core Azure services (Azure Functions, Azure Container Apps, Azure SQL Database, Azure Blob Storage, AKS, Azure Monitor, Azure Managed Prometheus).
• Experience designing, deploying and managing Kubernetes-based platforms.
• Experience implementing SRE standards for resiliency and scalability.
• Experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform.
• Experience implementing SLIs/SLOs and error budgets.
• Experience monitoring container-based microservices & cloud platform services.
• Experience with CI/CD tools - GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more technical workstreams and assure delivery quality.
• Translate requirements into architecture, pipelines, models, and production platforms.
• Maintain daily client engagement and identify adjacent service opportunities.
• Manage resource plans, budgets and engagement economics.
• Own problems from source through data pipeline to production handoff.
• Automate and optimize processes, tools, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Design, provision and run cloud and container platforms for production.
• Build scalable pipelines and streaming architectures using Python/SQL and cloud platforms.
• Apply data architecture, modelling, integration, quality and security principles.
• Embed governance, observability and operational support beyond model development.
