EY in the United States seeks a Data and Cloud Engineering Manager to turn data and AI into scalable production solutions, spanning architecture, ingestion, governance and production handoff.

Lead workstreams, manage budgets and client engagements while coaching technical talent. You’ll build pipelines on Azure with Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD, and ensure reliability, security and performance for complex platforms. This role blends hands-on delivery with leadership and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (4-year degree).
• Typically, 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• Proven record operating High Availability services on Azure (4+ years).
• Expert understanding of core Azure services (Functions, Container Apps, SQL, Blob, AKS, Monitor, Prometheus).
• Experience designing and managing Kubernetes-based container platforms.
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Experience implementing SLIs/SLOs and error budgets.
• Experience monitoring container-based microservices and cloud platforms.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and agile delivery skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead one or more technical workstreams and assure delivery quality.
• Translate requirements into architecture, pipelines, models or production platforms.
• Maintain daily client engagement and identify adjacent service opportunities.
• Manage resource plans, budgets and engagement economics.
• Own problems from raw source through data pipeline, model/analysis and production handoff.
• Automate and optimize processes and tools across cross-functional teams.
• Remain hands-on with tested, version-controlled, observable code.
• Design and run cloud platforms and Kubernetes-based architectures.
• Build scalable pipelines and streaming architectures using Python/SQL and cloud platforms (Azure predominant).
• Incorporate GenAI/LLM capabilities where relevant.
