Job summary

EY is seeking a Data and Cloud Engineering Manager to turn data and AI capabilities into scalable, reliable production solutions across the full platform lifecycle. You will own workstream delivery, budgets and client interactions, supporting team leadership and commercial acumen.

A proven background in Azure services, Kubernetes, Terraform and CI/CD is required, with hands-on design and delivery across data pipelines and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• Typically, 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Azure services and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Terraform and infrastructure automation.
• Experience with SRE standards, SLIs/SLOs and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more technical workstreams and assure delivery quality.
• Translate business and client requirements into architecture, pipelines, models or production platforms.
• Maintain daily client engagement and identify adjacent service opportunities.
• Manage resource plans, budgets and engagement economics.
• Own problems from raw source through data pipeline, model/analysis and production handoff.
• Automate, optimize and drive efficiency across cross-functional teams.
• Remain hands-on with tested, version-controlled, observable code.
• Design, provision and run the underlying cloud platform in production.
• Build scalable pipelines and streaming architectures using Python/SQL and cloud platforms.
• Understand data architecture, modelling, integration, quality, security and ontologies.
• Apply quality assurance and testing practices.
• Apply cloud and distributed-system architecture and production path using Kubernetes and IaC.
