Job summary

EY is seeking a Data and Cloud Engineering Manager to turn data and AI capabilities into scalable, reliable production solutions across the full platform lifecycle.

You will own workstreams, budgets and client interactions, while guiding cross-functional teams in data eng, software eng, and cloud architecture. Expect hands-on cloud platform design, scalable pipelines on Azure (with AWS/GCP awareness), and governance-driven delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• Typically, 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• Proven record operating High Availability services on Azure (4+ years).
• Expert understanding of Azure core services: Functions, Container Apps/Apps, SQL DB, Blob Storage, AKS, Monitor, Prometheus.
• Experience designing, deploying and managing container orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Experience implementing SRE standards for resiliency and scalability in Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more technical workstreams and assure delivery quality.
• Translate business and client requirements into architecture, pipelines and production platforms.
• Maintain daily client engagement and identify adjacent service opportunities.
• Manage resource plans, budgets and engagement economics.
• Own problems from raw source through data pipeline to production handoff.
• Automate and optimize processes, tools and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ensure high availability and performance of services and platforms.
• Design and run cloud and container platforms used by application teams.
