Job summary

EY is seeking a Data and Cloud Engineering Manager who will turn data and AI capabilities into scalable, reliable production solutions. You’ll own workstreams, budgets, client engagement, and team development across data engineering, software engineering, and cloud platforms.

The role emphasizes Azure-based platforms, Kubernetes orchestration, Terraform automation, CI/CD (GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps), and GenAI integration, with a strong focus on governance, reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• Typically, 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience operating High Availability services on Azure (4+ years).
• Strong understanding of core Azure services (Functions, Container Apps/Apps, SQL Database, Blob Storage, AKS, Monitor, Prometheus).
• Experience designing and managing Kubernetes-based container orchestration.
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Experience implementing SLIs/SLOs and error budgets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more technical workstreams and assure delivery quality.
• Translate business requirements into architecture, pipelines, and production platforms.
• Maintain daily client engagement and identify adjacent service opportunities.
• Manage resource plans, budgets and engagement economics.
• Own data pipelines from source to production handoff.
• Design and run cloud and container platform in production using Kubernetes.
