Job summary

CloudHQ, LLC in Ashburn, VA is seeking a Systems Administrator to ensure smooth technology operations for staff, vendors, and support teams. You will provide on-site, remote, and desk-side assistance, diagnosing complex issues and implementing effective resolutions.

The role requires 5+ years of technical support, strong networking and security knowledge, experience with Office 365, Azure and Intune, and a commitment to continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of technical support experience.
• Deep knowledge of computer networking, PC/Mac environments, server support, and phone systems.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, and Remote Desktop.
• Strong communication and customer service orientation.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work independently.
• On-call and occasional weekend/after-hours availability.
• Commitment to information security and privacy.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure Microsoft Office 365, Azure, Intune, Windows 10 and cloud-based apps.
• Arrange purchasing and supply of IT equipment for users across sites.
• Manage corporate mobile device plans.
• Respond to IT support requests, diagnose issues, and provide resolutions.
• Monitor system updates and perform routine maintenance.
• Develop and maintain local networks.
• Ensure security and privacy of networks and systems.
• Provide orientation and training on new software and equipment.
• Schedule upgrades and maintenance to minimize disruption.
• Maintain logs of repairs and maintenance (Zendesk).
• Identify equipment shortages and place orders.
• Perform backups and test restorations.
• Support ISO27001 policies.
• Engage in additional projects as needed.
