Job summary

Slalom is seeking a Data Architect for its Google COE to design and deliver enterprise-grade data platforms on Google Cloud. You will leverage BigQuery, Dataplex, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and Looker to enable scalable analytics and AI-ready data foundations across client environments.

You will lead architecture sessions with client teams, translate business needs into technical designs, and mentor engineers while collaborating with Slalom’s Google COE and client stakeholders in a hybrid,

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale data platforms on Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of GCP data engineering technologies and modern data architectures.
• Proficient in Python, Java, and SQL with engineering best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver enterprise-scale data platforms on Google Cloud for clients.
• Lead analysis, architecture, design and delivery sessions with Slalom and client teams.
• Advise on real-time and batch data processing, data governance, and AI-ready data foundations.
• Participate in pre-sales work including shaping modernization approaches and delivery plans.
