Job summary

Slalom is seeking a Data Engineer for its Google COE to design and build enterprise data platforms on Google Cloud Platform. You will migrate, modernize, and implement real-time and batch pipelines, enabling governed analytics and AI-ready data foundations.

You will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with clients and Slalom teams, delivering scalable cloud-native data solutions with a focus on BigQuery, Dataplex, and related services.

Qualifications

• Experience with Google Cloud data services and modern data platforms.
• Proficiency with Python, Java, and SQL.
• Experience building batch and real-time data pipelines on cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and modernize enterprise data platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Deliver solutions using BigQuery, Dataplex, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Vertex AI, Looker, and other Google services.
• Migrate and modernize data estates; implement real-time and batch pipelines; enable governed analytics; accelerate AI-ready data foundations.
