Job summary

Slalom is seeking a Data Architect for its Google COE to design and deliver enterprise-scale data platforms on Google Cloud Platform. You will migrate and modernize data estates, enable real-time and batch analytics, and lead architecture discussions with clients and internal teams.

You will collaborate with data engineers, dive into BigQuery, Dataplex, Dataflow, and Looker, and contribute to pre-sales efforts with strong communication of options and roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Broad architecture experience and deep expertise in Google Cloud data engineering technologies.
• Experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale data platforms on Google Cloud.
• Ability to facilitate design sessions with clients and Slalom teams.
• Strong communications skills to describe trade-offs and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver enterprise-scale data platforms on GCP.
• Migrate and modernize client data estates; enable real-time and batch platforms.
• Lead architecture analysis, design, and delivery of data platform solutions.
• Support pre-sales activities including defining technical solution options.
