Varonis is seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer to join our team in the United States. You will support sales with technical expertise, perform in-depth product demonstrations, and articulate complex cybersecurity and cloud concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

This role emphasizes collaboration with customers, crafting technical proposals, and staying ahead of industry trends to position Varonis solutions effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in a sales engineering or technical pre-sales role.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cybersecurity.
• Experience with data security concepts, IAM, and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; travel as needed.
• Certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, AWS) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales to understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Conduct in-depth product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients.
• Develop and deliver technical proposals, including architecture diagrams and implementation plans.
• Serve as a technical advisor on data security, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
• Assist in developing sales strategies and account plans to hit revenue targets.
• Stay current with industry trends and competitive landscape to position Varonis effectively.
• Provide feedback to product management on customer requirements and market trends.
• Participate in industry events and webinars to promote Varonis solutions.
• Support and drive sales activity to over-achieve targets.
