Job description

Our mission is to radically transform government and healthcare using the Google Cloud Platform. We do this by partnering with our clients and with the Google Cloud team to develop tools that make it easier for our clients to serve their communities.

About Us

Our mission is to radically transform government and healthcare using the Google Cloud Platform. We do this by partnering with our clients and with the Google Cloud team to develop tools that make it easier for our clients to serve their communities.

About the Role

We are looking for a mid-level Cloud Consultant / Application Developer who can step into client environments, translate business requirements into working software, and build out cloud-native applications on GCP. You'll spend your time defining requirements, building next generation applications using AI and other tools, and helping client teams modernize legacy applications.

If you enjoy full-stack or backend development, like working directly with product owners and end-users, and want to build software that has a tangible impact in public sector and healthcare settings, this role gives you direct ownership from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Join client discovery sessions to figure out what business problem needs solving and map out concrete technical features.
  • Work directly alongside client developers, product owners, and architects during daily standups and sprint planning.
  • Demo working software to client stakeholders, gather feedback, and iterate quickly.
  • Help estimate user stories, break down feature requests into technical tasks, and keep delivery on track.

Solution Engineering

  • Build and maintain web applications, APIs, and backend systems using AntiGravity, Python, Next.js.
  • Deploy and configure application workloads on GCP platforms like Cloud Run, App Engine, or Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
  • Wire up backend services to Cloud SQL, Firestore, or external enterprise APIs.
  • Write clean, maintainable code with solid test coverage, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/Cloud Build), and proper logging.
  • Package up reusable code modules, boilerplate templates, and developer documentation to share across projects.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional software development experience building full-stack or backend applications.
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying apps on Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Cloud SQL, IAM, etc.).
  • Proficient in at least one modern language like Python, TypeScript, React, Next.js.
  • Practical experience with REST APIs, and working with databases.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent practical experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Ability to work out of our Wheat Ridge office or client site ~50% of the time on average.
  • US Citizenship required due to public sector contract obligations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Google Cloud Professional Cloud Developer certification.
  • Prior experience building software for Government, Higher Education, or Healthcare organizations.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, GKE) and automated CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Experience connecting applications to enterprise AI/LLM APIs, event streams (Pub/Sub), or third-party OAuth providers.
  • Basic understanding of web application security standards (OWASP) and compliance requirements like HIPAA or FedRAMP.

Conditions of Employment

The position is an excepted appointment subject to background investigation and drug screen. Due to the nature of our clients, this position requires US citizenship.

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Pay: $90,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year + 10% bonus

Benefits
