Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Cloud Configuration Management Specialist to support USTRANSCOM ITSM at Scott AFB, Illinois. The role focuses on identifying, tracking, and managing configuration items throughout their lifecycle in cloud environments, with extensive DoD program experience.

Responsibilities span CM process implementation, backlog management, and collaboration with customers and project teams to ensure compliance and readiness for deployment.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years or more experience
• Active DoD Secret Clearance
• IAT Level II certs: Security+, CECCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP
• AWS Cloud Practitioner CE certification
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and client-facing cloud support
• Experience with cloud formation templates

Responsibilities

• Apply configuration management to cloud environments
• Support DoD programs
• Use CM tools for complex projects
• Develop engineering design and change artifacts to CM processes
• Organize technical knowledge bases
• Standardize documentation to meet customer requirements
• Identify and resolve operational inefficiencies
• Manage backlog priorities and sprint cycles
• Implement CM processes per Enterprise SOP
• Review engineering change data for CM compliance
• Deploy systems to AWS GovCloud
• Interact with high-level customers in planning and collaboration
