Job summary

Tencent Cloud is seeking a Service Reliability Engineer to monitor and maintain its North American computing products, ensuring stability and performance. You will drive deployments, upgrades, and architecture optimizations, while actively troubleshooting issues reported by regional customers.

The role requires Linux expertise, networking knowledge, and scripting skills (Python/Shell). Mandarin/English communication is a plus for coordinating with international teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS or related field.
• Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin; international teams preferred but not required.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for Linux (kernel, memory, processes, threads, IPC, signals).
• Strong knowledge of HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, ICMP, Subnetting, Load Balancing.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain Tencent Cloud's computing products in North America to ensure stability.
• Drive deployment, upgrades, and architecture optimization using CI/CD and related tools.
• Troubleshoot customer issues in the region.
• Develop scripts and tools to monitor and improve service quality and operations.
• Document and improve operational processes for efficiency.
