Job summary

Google Cloud seeks a seasoned Customer Engineering Manager III to lead a team delivering trusted technical guidance and solution architecture for customers. You will partner with Sales to drive go-to-market strategies and cloud adoption, while mentoring engineers to achieve scalable, high-impact outcomes.

You will manage delivery and disrupt blockers across cross-functional teams, ensuring successful workload migrations and demonstrable business value for customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
• Experience with cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms.
• Experience with technical conversations, demos, prototyping, or workshops with customers.
• Leadership experience (e.g., people management, team lead, mentorship, coaching).

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Customer Engineers focused on culture, talent strategy, and skills development.
• Foster partnerships and provide thought leadership on cloud solutions and expansion opportunities.
• Partner with Sales to define technical go-to-market strategies and delivery plans.
• Balance technical leadership with operational excellence and staffing plans.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve technical roadblocks and drive customer value.
