Job summary

Sigma Computing is seeking a Solution Engineer to further redefine the BI landscape. You will act as a trusted advisor, delivering on the technical presales cycle, including demos, prototypes, and responses to RFPs/RFIs. You will align with Sales, Product, and Support to drive successful engagements.

You will build customized demos, run discovery sessions, and articulate the value of Sigma’s cloud-native BI platform to diverse audiences. A background in SaaS and cloud architectures is aPlus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of business intelligence experience.
• Strong understanding of database concepts.
• Cloud data warehouse experience: Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery.
• ETL experience: Fivetran, Matillion, or traditional ETL.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer challenges and run targeted discovery sessions or workshops.
• Engage with business users to define and showcase solution prototypes.
• Build and present customized demos for customers and events.
• Present the business value of the Sigma platform to all levels.
• Deliver technical responses on RFPs/RFIs and participate in relevant certifications.
