Job summary

Dice is seeking a Cloud & AI Platform Engineer to build and operate secure, reusable infrastructure across Azure, AWS, on-prem, and Oracle. The role is hybrid in Atlanta, GA or Cincinnati, OH, for a 6-month contract-to-hire engagement.

You will migrate VMware workloads to Kubernetes, extend Terraform and Ansible automation, support GitHub CI/CD, and lay the groundwork for AI infrastructure governance while training staff. Strong Kubernetes and DevOps experience are required to succeed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Kubernetes in multi-cloud environments.
• Proficiency with Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure automation.
• Experience with DevOps/CI-CD pipelines and GitHub workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate infrastructure across Azure, AWS, on-prem and Oracle environments to support access to internal systems and standardized deployment pipelines.
• Support and accelerate migration of internal apps from VMware to Kubernetes-based containerization.
• Help mature IaS model enabling automated provisioning of compute resources via ServiceNow.
• Extend and enhance Terraform and Ansible automation for broader adoption and Kubernetes deployment model.
• Support GitHub-based deployment workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
