Job summary

Cincinnatus LLC, an enterprise staffing company, is seeking a Cloud and DevOps Engineer for a 40-hour week with W-2 employment, to be placed at a leading AI Lab in the Miami area.

You'll work with Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS CDK, and CI/CD pipelines to support AI model training and inference infrastructure.

We value hands-on debugging of cluster failures, IaC automation, and clear written technical feedback across teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in cloud infra, DevOps, or platform engineering.
• Hands-on Kubernetes operations including failures.
• Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform and/or AWS CDK.
• Production AWS service integrations (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven career progression.
• Available for 40 hours/week on weekdays.
• Excellent written communication.

Responsibilities

• Guide research and engineering teams to close knowledge gaps and improve AI model performance in cloud infrastructure and IaC.
• Design tasks and solutions for cluster diagnosis and AWS service integration.
• Evaluate infra tasks and provide clear technical feedback.
• Develop rubrics to assess cluster failure diagnosis and CI/CD design.
• Collaborate with SMEs to ensure data training consistency.
