Job summary

Qualifications

• 1+ years of non-internship software development experience.
• 1+ years of design or architecture experience (patterns, reliability, scaling).
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered or distributed software apps, tools, systems, and services in C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, and bring innovative products to market.
• Design and build technologies in a large distributed computing environment and lead fundamental changes in the industry.
• Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems at scale and speed.
• Build distributed storage, index, and query systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, and low cost.
• Design and code the right solutions starting from broadly defined problems.
• Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.
