Role Description

We’re currently looking for a Boutique Operations Manager—someone who’s ready to be the owner’s right hand and a vital part of our small but mighty team. This is a full-time on-site role for a Clothing Boutique Manager at Dakota J's in Atlanta, GA. The Clothing Boutique Manager will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the boutique, managing the team, product inventory, customer service, and ensuring the boutique meets sales goals and targets.

What We’re Looking For:

This is not your average retail role. We need someone who’s passionate, proactive, and excited to take ownership in nearly every area of the business. You’ll be involved in:

- Hiring, training, onboarding, and managing staff

- Creating staff schedules, leading the team, and meeting monthly/annual sales goals by analyzing past performance and setting strategic targets

- Helping customers and building relationships

- Inputting and organizing inventory

- Assisting in buying and curating merchandise

- Contacting and collaborating with local artists and vendors to bring unique products into the store

- Merchandising the store and window displays to keep the space fresh and engaging—and ensuring merchandise stays full and replenished as items sell

- Managing our online store and e-commerce platform (product uploads, descriptions, inventory sync)

- Creating and scheduling engaging social media content to maintain our brand presence and drive traffic

- Reordering store and operational supplies to keep things running smoothly

- Overseeing daily operations—whether the owner is in or out of the store

- Bringing fresh ideas to keep Dakota J’s growing and thriving

Retail or boutique experience is a must—we’re looking for someone who already understands the rhythm of a retail floor and the attention to detail that a boutique setting demands. Strong leadership skills, a sense of style, digital savvy, and a dependable, go-getter attitude are essential.

We’re looking for someone to start as soon as possible. Our current manager will remain onboard through the end of August to help train you in every area and ensure a smooth transition.
