NBT is seeking a loan operations professional in Lakeville, CT to manage daily closing and funding tasks for home loans. You will prepare approved loans for closing, coordinate with agents, review loan documents, and ensure timely funding while maintaining compliant files.

The role requires minimal 2 years in banking or lending, strong MS Word/Excel skills, and excellent communication and organizational abilities. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifikationen

• 2 years of banking or lending experience preferred.
• 2 years in a professional work environment required, preferably within a bank, financial institution, or law office.
• Basic knowledge of consumer, real estate or mortgage products and workflows preferred, but not required.
• Strong computer proficiency: Word, Excel and the Internet.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organization skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multi-task on numerous tasks simultaneously.

Aufgaben

• Engage closing agents to expedite scheduling of closings within department service levels (25%).
• Perform post-closing document review to validate documents are complete and accurate prior to funding; authorize/prep disbursements (25%).
• Conduct quality control reviews on all closed loans for upload and storage; ensure data fields are complete in LOS.
• Proactively manage pipeline of missing/incomplete/incorrect documents and follow-up with closing agents (approximately 15%).
• Answer internal/external inquiries; provide superior customer service and professional communication; work as a team (10%).
• Perform other duties as assigned (5%).
