Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation in Charlotte is seeking a Closing Specialist to perform commercial/multifamily closing duties, conduct due diligence, review property and liability insurance, and prepare loan documents in alignment with AML/KYC policies.

You will build strong relationships with business, legal, and servicing contacts, support asset management with problem assets, and help ensure sound risk management while upholding Truist's values and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree with strong academic record.
• Experience performing commercial/multifamily closing tasks including due diligence and loan document review.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong decision-making and risk analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform closing duties for commercial/multifamily loans, including due diligence, insurance reviews, and funding submissions.
• Coordinate with business, legal, and servicing contacts across agencies and lenders.
• Assist servicing/asset management with problematic assets and borrower requests.
• Promote a cohesive, inclusive, team-oriented culture and strong risk management.
