Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• CPA certification or active candidacy.
• Eight or more years of experience in mutual fund administration or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team responsible for fund compliance programs, regulatory filings, and financial statement preparation.
• Serve as primary client contact for regulatory and operational matters.
• Coordinate fund operations with service providers, including investment advisors, custodians, transfer agents, fund accountants, attorneys, and auditors.
• Oversee preparation and review of financial statements, shareholder reports, and required SEC filings.
• Review fund/client activity to identify issues and propose corrective actions.
• Manage fund expenses and provide reporting for Boards of Directors.
• Oversee audits and work with external auditors.
• Provide training and guidance on regulatory changes to staff.
• Evaluate procedures and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.
