Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Fund Administration Closed-End Fund Supervisor to lead daily compliance operations for closed-end funds and BDC clients, based in Milwaukee.

You will mentor a team, manage regulatory filings, and coordinate with advisors, custodians, and auditors to ensure accurate financial statements and reports. You will also oversee audits, provide training on regulatory changes, and drive process improvements while supporting growth initiatives for the fund administration practice at

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• CPA certified or candidate.
• Eight or more years of experience in Mutual Fund Administration or related field.
• Advanced knowledge of legal, regulatory, and accounting principles affecting registered investment funds.
• Strong understanding of the Investment Company Act of 1940, Subchapter M of the Internal Revenue Code, and applicable state securities regulations.
• Demonstrated experience managing and developing professional staff.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage complex, long-term projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with significant client interaction.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard PC applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team responsible for fund compliance programs and regulatory filings.
• Coordinate fund operations with service providers and auditors.
• Oversee preparation and review of financial statements and shareholder reports.
• Review fund activity to identify issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Manage fund expenses and provide reporting for Boards.
• Oversee audits and work with external auditors.
• Provide training and guidance on regulatory changes.
• Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.
