Job summary

Amatus Recovery Centers in Maryland is seeking a dedicated clinician to provide direct care to individuals on their path to recovery. You will deliver individual and group therapy, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and develop evidence-based treatment plans to promote healing and long-term success.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
• Licensure required (LPC, LCSW, LMFT or equivalent) or working toward licensure.
• Experience in mental health or substance use treatment preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Your Role as a Clinician

As a clinician, you will provide direct support to clients, helping them navigate their recovery journey with compassionate, evidence-based care. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans that promote healing and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Individual & Group Therapy - Deliver high-quality counseling tailored to client needs.


• Develop & Implement Treatment Plans - Create personalized recovery plans that drive meaningful change.


• Maintain Clinical Documentation - Ensure accurate records to support treatment effectiveness.


• Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team - Work alongside clinicians, medical staff, and leadership.


• Support Crisis Intervention - Help clients navigate challenges with compassionate care.


• Stay Current with Best Practices - Continuously improve skills through training and supervision.

What We’re Looking For

• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field


• Licensure Required - LPC, LCSW, LMFT, ADT, CSC, CAC or equivalent (or working toward full licensure)


• Experience In Mental Health Or Substance Use Treatment Preferred


• Strong communication and collaboration skills
