Job summary

Amatus Recovery Centers is seeking a dedicated clinician to provide direct, evidence-based care for individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement recovery-oriented treatment plans and support clients on their path to healing.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, collaboration, and ongoing professional growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
• Licensure required or working toward full licensure.
• Experience in mental health or substance use treatment preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for evidence-based treatment.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual & group therapy tailored to client needs.
• Develop & implement personalized treatment plans to drive recovery.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation to support care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and staff.
• Support crisis intervention and safety planning as needed.
• Stay current with best practices through ongoing training and supervision.

Your Role as a Clinician

As a clinician, you will provide direct support to clients, helping them navigate their recovery journey with compassionate, evidence-based care. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans that promote healing and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Individual & Group Therapy – Deliver high-quality counseling tailored to client needs.
• Develop & Implement Treatment Plans – Create personalized recovery plans that drive meaningful change.
• Maintain Clinical Documentation – Ensure accurate records to support treatment effectiveness.
• Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team – Work alongside clinicians, medical staff, and leadership.
• Support Crisis Intervention – Help clients navigate challenges with compassionate care.
• Stay Current with Best Practices – Continuously improve skills through training and supervision.

What We’re Looking For

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
• Licensure Required – LPC, LCSW, LMFT, ADT, CSC, CAC or equivalent (or working toward full licensure)
• Experience in mental health or substance use treatment preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for helping others through evidence-based treatment
