Job summary

Amatus Recovery Centers in Maryland is seeking a clinician to provide direct, evidence-based care to clients on their recovery journey. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to implement treatment plans and deliver individual and group therapy.

This role offers a $2,500 sign-on bonus, competitive benefits, generous PTO, and opportunities for professional growth through supervision and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
• Licensure as LPC, LCSW, LMFT, ADT, CSC, CAC or equivalent (or working toward full licensure).
• Experience in mental health or substance use treatment preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for helping others through evidence-based treatment.

Responsibilities

• Provide Individual & Group Therapy – Deliver high-quality counseling tailored to client needs.
• Develop & Implement Treatment Plans – Create personalized recovery plans that drive meaningful change.
• Maintain Clinical Documentation – Ensure accurate records to support treatment effectiveness.
• Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team – Work alongside clinicians, medical staff, and leadership.
• Support Crisis Intervention – Help clients navigate challenges with compassionate care.
• Stay Current with Best Practices – Continuously improve skills through training and supervision.

Your Role as a Clinician
