Job summary

MHA Inc. is seeking a Clinician to deliver direct counseling and case management support in a residential services division.

The role emphasizes integrated treatment planning, group and individual counseling, and documentation to comply with regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will work in a collaborative, recovery-oriented setting, supporting residents across mental health and substance use challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, or LADC I preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as a team.
• Strong oral and written communication, computer, and organizational skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CPR and First Aid certifications.

Job description

Position Summary

The Clinician provides direct individual, group, educational, clinical, and case management services to residents with substance use and/or mental health disorders. The Clinician completes required screenings, assessments, and treatment planning from provider and an integrated approach to treatment. The Clinician helps maintain a therapeutic residential environment through meetings, groups, and support.

Pay Rate

$52,000-$57,000 annually, depending on education level

Open Shift

Monday 12pm-8pm, Tuesday through Friday 9am-5pm (40hrs)

Key Responsibilities

About the Division of Recovery Services (DRS)

The Division of Recovery Services (DRS) supports individuals of all ages navigating mental health and substance use challenges. Our youth residential programs provide a safe, structured environment for adolescents involved with the Department of Children and Families (DCF) to address behavioral health needs. For adults, DRS offers residential and outreach support for those in recovery or living with addiction, including many with co-occurring mental health concerns. Through compassionate, trauma-informed care, we help individuals build coping skills, restore stability, and work toward long-term recovery and wellness.

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
