Zusammenfassung

Center for Justice Innovation seeks a Clinician for Staten Island’s Supervised Release Program (SRP) to provide crisis intervention, intake assessments, and case management for participants facing court-mandated requirements.

You will deliver evidence-based practice, coordinate with court stakeholders, and connect clients to community services to support stability and compliance. This on-site role requires strong collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in social work or a mental health field required; LMSW or license preferred.
• Experience in pretrial, court-based, or criminal legal systems preferred.
• Crisis intervention and de-escalation experience required.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Experience with trauma-informed and strength-based approaches; CBT and MI preferred.
• Knowledge of local social service providers; ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Aufgaben

• Conduct intake and holistic assessments.
• Create voluntary service and resource plans addressing criminogenic needs.
• Make referrals to address immediate needs and support engagement with referrals.
• Provide participants with information on additional court mandates and programming.
• Coordinate with supervisors to complete court-reported programming recommendations.
• Facilitate mandated and voluntary sessions to promote motivation for change.
