Job summary

Summit Pointe is seeking a Clinician for the Multi Systemic Therapy (MST) program in Battle Creek, MI. The role provides intensive, home-, school-, and community-based therapy to youth with serious behavioral and emotional challenges and their families.

You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop evidence-based plans using MST, and collaborate with caregivers and community partners. The position requires crisis intervention, documentation, supervision, and adherence to HIPAA and state

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a behavioral health care setting utilizing evidence-based practices with youth.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Active driver's license.
• Must support a trauma informed culture of safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive, home-, school-, and community-based therapy to youth with serious behavioral and emotional challenges and their families.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments identifying strengths, needs, risk factors, and systemic influences.
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans using MST.
• Collaborate with caregivers to build parenting skills and improve family functioning.
• Coordinate care with schools, probation officers, medical providers, and child welfare agencies.
• Deliver crisis intervention services and maintain 24/7 on-call availability as required.
• Monitor progress with measurable outcomes and adjust interventions accordingly.
• Maintain clinical documentation per agency, state, and MST standards.
• Participate in supervision, consultations, and team meetings to ensure fidelity.
• Complete safety assessments and develop crisis and safety plans when indicated.
• Empower caregivers to sustain gains after discharge and manage future concerns.
