Job summary

HSHS Medical Group in Springfield, IL seeks a Project Manager-Clinical Trials to oversee the management of multiple clinical research trials, including patient screening, consent, and data documentation. Responsibilities include reporting adverse events and ensuring PI/site compliance with protocols.

The role emphasizes coordination between patients, families and healthcare teams, with a Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:30 PM schedule and a focus on quality and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a nursing, science or healthcare related field is required.
• Master's degree in healthcare, research, business or related discipline is preferred.
• Associate's degree in radiology plus 3 years of experience special procedures technologist and/or cardiovascular research may be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Oversee management of multiple clinical research trials.
• Select and analyze potential patients for study participation.
• Obtain informed consent and document required case report forms.
• Identify adverse events and report to FDA/IRB/Study Sponsor as applicable.
• Ensure site/PI compliance with approved protocols and liaise with patients and healthcare professionals.
