Job summary

Accel Research Sites in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Patient Liaison to support onsite patient recruitment by conducting pre-screening and scheduling, guiding eligible participants into studies, and coordinating with site staff.

The role requires a high school diploma and 5 years in healthcare or research, with CTMS experience and strong organizational/communication skills. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. This is a full-time position in Operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, plus 5 years in healthcare, call center, or medical research.
• CTMS experience and familiarity with clinical trials preferred.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Onsite patient pre-screening and scheduling for studies.
• Evaluate eligibility via interviews, medical record reviews, and staff discussions.
• Manage patient referrals, and communicate with sites to minimize barriers to enrollment.
• Update CTMS and patient profiles regularly; monitor recruitment metrics.
• Support local community outreach and training of new recruiters.
