Job summary

Alcanza Clinical Research is seeking a Patient Liaison to support onsite recruitment activities across our multi-site clinical studies. You will conduct pre-screening, manage scheduling, and coordinate with site staff to move suitable patients into active trials.

The role requires strong organizational, communication, and HIPAA-compliant handling of sensitive health information, with bilingual English/Spanish as a plus. Commitment to teamwork and patient-centered care is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in healthcare, call center, or medical research.
• MA, CNA, LPN/LVN, EMT or other medical license preferred.
• Experience with therapy areas, customer service, calendar management/scheduling and CTMS preferred.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish proficiency a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute onsite patient pre-screening and pivot qualified patients to active studies at local sites.
• Evaluate eligibility via screening interviews, medical record reviews, or staff discussions.
• Monitor and manage onsite screening visit schedules and rescheduling as needed.
• Own No-Show/DNQ tracking and optimize processes.
• Capture and manage inbound physician referral leads and support plans to enrollment.
• Address barriers to study entry, including transportation assistance options.
