Job summary

Merit Medical Systems, Inc. seeks a Clinical Training Specialist to provide hands‑on training for clinicians, physicians, and sales teams on Merit products. You will answer technical questions, perform in‑field evaluations, and build curricula to enhance knowledge and competency.

The role involves conducting ongoing staff training, developing CEU programs, and traveling to customer sites. A clinical background with strong communication is essential; 75% travel is expected across multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field or business experience.
• Minimum of five years of hands‑on medical experience.
• Education and clinical experience equivalent to a Registered Nurse or Certified Cardiovascular or Radiology Technician preferred.
• Medical product sales and sales training experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to analyze feedback in a training environment to develop strategies.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical training to Sales Representatives, Tech Teams, Merit employees, Cath lab and Radiology staff, and physicians on Merit products.
• Answer clinical questions from doctors, technicians, sales representatives, etc.
• Collaborate with Sales Representatives in the field to do evaluations or obtain feedback.
• Develop training curriculums and programs to improve knowledge, skill, and ability.
• Conduct ongoing staff training and provide clinical feedback to resolve customer issues.
• In the field, support and train clinicians on Merit products and troubleshoot product issues.
