Job summary

Merit Medical seeks an experienced Training Specialist to educate the global sales force and internal teams on product applications and clinical use. You will design curricula, deliver classes, and update dealers as new products launch, ensuring high levels of product knowledge and field readiness.

You will develop training materials, coordinate across Product Managers, and respond to clinical inquiries, supporting commercial and clinical education initiatives worldwide.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to analyze feedback in a training environment to develop strategies to improve knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• A thorough understanding of training and development techniques, and the ability to implement a corporate sales training program.
• Good analytical skills and the ability to understand complex issues.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to coordinate large programs.

Responsibilities

• Educates Merit's global sales force (domestic and international) and various employees on Merit’s products and their applications in the field through classes and sales meetings.
• Trains and updates Merit’s worldwide dealers as new products are launched.
• Presents Merit product information at new hire orientation classes.
• Develops and implements ongoing home-study training course to improve and maintain a high level of product and clinical expertise in the field sales organization.
• Works with Product Managers to develop sales training and inservice videos.
• Answers clinical questions from doctors, technicians, sales representatives, etc.
