Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Clinical Therapist II to join the multidisciplinary clinical treatment team. You will treat patients using diverse modalities and provide psychosocial interventions supporting patients and families across behavioral health, levels of care, hospitalization, disease management, and recovery.

The role requires an MSW or Counseling master's degree, at least two years post-licensure experience, and strong teamwork, communication, and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or Master's degree in Counseling, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of post-licensure work experience in the same field.
• Ability to perform psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Knowledge of crisis intervention theory, its application in a variety of settings, as well as knowledge of disease management and disease process and differential diagnoses, and treatment techniques.
• Ability to work as part of a team, while building collaborative relationships.
• Must possess excellent follow through and attention to detail.
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Responsibilities
