Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. is seeking a Clinical Therapist II to join our multidisciplinary clinical treatment team.

The successful candidate will provide psychosocial interventions and support to patients and families dealing with behavioral health, hospitalization, disease, and recovery. Requirements include an MSW or Counseling degree, 2+ years post-licensure experience, and licensure in NJ (Professional Counselor, LCSW, or related).

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or Master's degree in Counseling or related field.
• Minimum of two years of post-licensure work experience in the same field.
• Ability to perform psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Knowledge of crisis intervention theory, disease management and differential diagnoses.
• Ability to work as part of a team while building collaborative relationships.
• Excellent follow-through and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients by utilizing a variety of modalities as part of the multidisciplinary clinical treatment team.
• Provide psychosocial and social interventions to support patients and families relating to behavioral health, levels of care, hospitalization, disease and recovery.
