Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Clinical Therapist I to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patients and families across behavioral/medical health contexts. You will contribute to psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and recovery-oriented care while coordinating with physicians, nurses, and social work colleagues.

The role requires an MSW or Counseling master's degree, 0–3 years of experience, and supervision under a licensed clinician.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or Counseling or related fields.
• 0–3 years of total work experience in Social Work or related fields.
• Work under supervision of an LCSW or LPC with approved supervision or ACS credential.
• Ability to perform psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Knowledge of crisis intervention theory and its application in various settings.
• Knowledge of disease management and differential diagnosis and treatment techniques.
• Ability to work as part of a team with collaborative relationships.
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to support patients and families in behavioral/medical health contexts.
• Provide psychological, social, and interventions to support patients across levels of care and wellness and recovery.
• Contribute to treatment planning and care coordination with care teams.
