Job summary

Inova Loudoun Hospital – Gastro Labs is seeking a Clinical Technician 1 to join the team. The role is full-time, day shifts with no weekends or holidays. Training is provided, including six weeks of paid sessions and on-unit shifts under RN supervision.

You will deliver direct patient care, communicate clearly with the care team, and uphold professional standards across the health system.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association, or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Proficient verbal and written communication in English.
• Physical ability to lift at least 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses.
• Communicate effectively with team members, patients and visitors.
• Maintain professionalism and integrity across the healthcare system.
• May perform additional duties as assigned.
• Complete training requirements including six weeks of paid training.

This schedule for this role will be Full-Time | Days | 6:00am-4:30pm & 7:00am-5:30pm on Wednesdays | No Weekends / No Holidays |

Clinical Technician 1 – Job Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurses.
• Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors.
• Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.
• May perform additional duties as assigned

Training

Must be available for six (6) non-consecutive weeks of paid training, consisting of:

• Virtual orientations (Two from 8AM -4:30PM)
• Classroom-style sessions: 8AM - 4:30PM (6 shifts total)
• Virtual training modules.
• On-unit shifts

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire
• Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds
