Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current CPR certification preferred or must be obtained within 7 days of hire.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or EMT/Paramedic with suitable credentials preferred.
• Experience with HIPAA and patient privacy regulations is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative support under supervision of a Provider, NP or PA.
• Deliver compassionate, accurate patient care and respond quickly to changes in condition.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist with minor procedures and injections.
• Triage patients by checking vitals, phlebotomy, and administering basic tests.
• Maintain patient charts and assist with telehealth consultations.
• Coordinate referrals and obtain pre-authorizations as directed by the Provider.
