The Doe Fund Inc. in New York, NY is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to supervise the Clinical Team and guide residents through psychotherapy and crisis interventions within our SSR/ Ready, Willing & Able programs.

You will develop assessment systems, maintain progress documentation, and coordinate with community agencies while supporting discharge planning and compliance with health and mental health standards.

Qualifications

• Masters in Social Work or Psychology from an accredited college or university.
• Three years minimum Post Master’s experience; 1-2 years of which should include supervisory experience.
• Ideal candidates must have a working knowledge of mental health and substance abuse issues as well as homelessness.

Responsabilités

• Provides clinical and administrative supervision to members of the Clinical Team and interns.
• Receives NY/NY III Applications, sets up interviews for prospective residents. Facilitates admission meetings with the Clinical Team to discuss applicants and appropriate placement.
• Completes required governmental and agency reports.
• Provide individual psychotherapy sessions for residents and crisis intervention as needed.
• Assigns cases to members of Clinical Team based on caseload and reviews service plans and progress notes to ensure completeness.
• Develops and maintains a system of assessment/evaluation of all case management function, to assure compliance with The Doe Fund and Department of Health and Mental Health standards.
• Collaborates with all departments as it relates to the residents and assists in coordinating care and referrals with community agencies and is involved in the discharge planning process from correctional or mental health facilities as necessary.
