Job summary

Carle Health seeks a Clinical Support Services Associate I (CSSA1) to float between Logistics, Patient Transport, Hospitality Lounge and Entryway Services, supporting Epic task requests and optimizing patient flow on the CFH campus.

Responsibilities include safe transport of patients, guests, equipment and specimens, distributing equipment, and aiding wayfinding and Uber Health rides. BLS instructor certification within 30 days and a fingerprint check within 30 days are required.

Qualifications

• BLS Instructor within 30 days (AHA).
• Fingerprint check required within 30 days (IDPH).

Responsibilities

• Safely assist with moving patients onto transport devices and transport to designated destinations.
• Respond to emergency situations during patient transport.
• Use, store, and clean equipment; receive dispatches and gather needed gear.
• Distribute medical equipment to CFH departments as scheduled.
• Floats between CSS and Hospitality to maintain throughput; support visiting/wayfinding.
