Saint Francis Healthcare System is seeking a patient transporter to move patients between clinical areas, using wheelchairs, stretchers, carts or beds. With attention to safety and patient comfort, you will assist during discharge and transfers to vehicles.

The role is part-time with dayshift hours M-F and a 48-hour biweekly schedule; BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire. Prior transport experience is preferred or training will be provided.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Previous transport experience preferred or willing to train.
• Ability to transport patients via wheelchair, stretcher, cart or bed.

Responsabilidades

• Transport patients to and from clinical, ancillary, and support areas via wheelchair, stretcher, cart or bed.
• Assist patients in transfers to beds, wheelchairs or stretchers as needed.
• During discharge, assist patients in and out of vehicles.
