Job summary

DESC is a Seattle-based nonprofit that provides housing stabilization and behavioral health support to people experiencing homelessness. The Clinical Support Specialist works within an integrated care team to plan and coordinate services for tenants, combining case management with mental health support.

You will engage tenants, develop ISP goals, and collaborate with DESC staff and outside providers to ensure access to housing, services, and crisis support, guided by trauma-informed practices.

Qualifications

• Licensed AAC in WA or eligible to obtain soon
• Clinical experience with homeless adults with co-occurring issues
• Ability to work with diverse populations
• Ability to work with challenging behaviors

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Integrated Service Plans with tenants and care teams.
• Provide case management and mental health support to tenants.
• Document interactions and maintain logs per agency guidelines.
• Collaborate with DESC and outside providers to coordinate services.
• Use trauma-informed approaches to crisis intervention and lease enforcement.
