Job summary

Westside Children's Therapy is seeking a Clinical Support BCBA to provide supervision coverage for clinics with temporary BCBA vacancies. This hybrid role requires on-site presence at a Westside clinic at least two days per month to support RBTs and client development.

You will supervise client programs, mentor RBTs, collaborate with SLP and OT teams, maintain records, and ensure adherence to ABA practices.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in psychology, education, ABA, or a related field.
  • Current BCBA certification from the BACB.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a BCBA.
  • Strong communication and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and supervise the implementation of BIPs/therapeutic programs to address client goals, drawing from NET principles.
  • Monitor and analyze data to assess intervention effectiveness and adjust accordingly.
  • Provide training and supervision to behavior technicians and other team members.
  • Provide 10-20% supervision for each client on your caseload.
  • Provide supervision for 5-10% of each RBTs supervision hours.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic treatment.
  • Maintain accurate client records and progress reports.
  • Revise and update client programs every 1-2 weeks.
  • Mentor and train new team members as requested by Clinic ABA Director.
  • Stay current with ABA research and best practices.

Position Summary

The Clinical Support BCBA is responsible for providing supervision coverage to clinics with temporary BCBA vacancies. The Clinic Support BCBA will act as the assigned BCBA to ensure clinically sound supervision and care to our clients at Westside Children’s Therapy. The Clinic Support BCBA’s supervision and clinical assignments will change as needs arise. This hybrid role requires team members to be physically present at a Westside Clinic at minimum two (2) days per month to support RBTs and clients development. During in-person support days, the Clinical Support BCBA will provide in-clinic training and support to RBTs, facilitate parent meetings, and conduct supervision.

Essential Functions
  • Develop and supervise the implementation of BIPs/individualized therapeutic programs to address client goals, drawing heavily from NET principles
  • Monitor and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of interventions and make necessary adjustments.
  • Provide training and supervision to behavior technicians and other team members.
  • Provide 10-20% supervision for each client on your caseload
  • Provide supervision for 5-10% of each RBTs supervision hours
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including speech therapists, occupational therapists, and educators, to ensure a holistic approach to treatment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and progress reports.
  • Revise and update client programs on a regular basis, every 1-2 weeks
  • Complete and submit required documentation, including, but not limited to, SOAP Notes, Evaluations, Progress Reports in accordance with practice guidelines
  • Supervise no less than one student earning their BCBA fieldwork hours (if necessary)
  • Mentor and train new team members as requested by Clinic ABA Director
  • Stay current with the latest research and best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA).
Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Psychology, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field
  • Current BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • 5 years of experience as a BCBA
