Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a Clinical Supply Chain Coordinator to assist the Clinical Supply Chain Director and Managers in controlling inventory for Perioperative Services, EP Lab, Cath Lab and Radiology. You will help optimize par levels, consignment usage, and vendor relations to improve inventory turns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a healthcare-related field.
• 1 year of Operating Room/Supply Chain/Sterile Processing experience.
• Strong skills related to inventory control and Microsoft Office.
• Current membership and active participation in a relevant professional organization.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with Nursing Leadership the re-ordering, re-stocking, and reconciliation of supplies based on par levels and consignment.
• Create requisitions for implant use in operating/procedural rooms: Bill Only POs, Consignment Orders, Manual/Rush requisitions, Special Requests Orders, No Charge POs.
• Verifies and validates vendor consignment replenishment requests based on on-hand inventory and OR usage.
• Maintains invoices, packing slips, and receipts on all purchase orders for consignment products.
• Performs all inventory functions with vendor reps: monthly/quarterly inventory, reconciliations, item updates, recalls, backorders.
