Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health Behavioral Services in Tewksbury, MA, seeks a Clinical Supervisor to oversee daily clinical operations of the Transitional Support Services program. You will supervise staff, provide crisis consultation, and ensure adherence to evidence-based addiction treatment approaches including MAT for opioid use disorders.

The role requires a Master's degree in a related field, independent licensure preferred, and a track record of supervising SUD counseling.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in clinical psychology, mental health, psychology, rehabilitative counseling, or social work.
• Independent licensure preferred (LICSW, LMHC, LADC I). Must be on track to obtain independent licensure prior to January 1, 2028.
• Two years of supervised substance use disorder counseling experience and at least one year in a supervisory role.
• Ability to relate to a substance use treatment population in a sensitive manner and work in a multicultural setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical supervision and crisis consultation to staff and interns.
• Maintains current knowledge of evidence based practices including Medication Assisted Treatment for opioid use disorders.
• Provides training and supervision to ensure the use of evidence based practices by clinical staff.
• Monitors and assigns caseloads as needed.
• Conducts assessments and provides individual and group services to residents requiring additional support.
• Collaborates with the leadership team to review program design and implement recommendations.
• Chairs the weekly multidisciplinary treatment team meeting.
• Audits clinical documentation to ensure compliance with state regulations.
• Participates in meetings with internal and external stakeholders and community providers.
• Regularly reviews the group treatment curriculum and develops new groups.
• Maintains necessary records.
• Participates in rotating weekend and after hours on-call coverage.
