Job summary

New Bedford Transitional Support Services (TSS) is seeking a licensed clinical supervisor/clinician to provide direct patient care, assessments, and treatment planning in a full-time role in New Bedford, MA. The position involves group facilitation, discharge planning, and coordination with aftercare services.

Education/Licensure required include a Master’s in a related field and LICSW, LMHC, LADC1 or LMFT licensure or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a human service related field and licensed or license eligible as a LICSW, LMHC or LMFT.
• One year of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assessments, individual counseling, case management, discharge and aftercare planning, daily group facilitation and documentation.
• Link patients with aftercare services and assist with accessing outpatient services.
• Attend unit meetings, case conferences, and mandatory trainings; maintain caseload and comply with HIPAA and licensing regulations.
• Work collaboratively with clinical staff, insurance authorizations, and community partners to maximize third-party reimbursement.
