Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) is seeking a Clinical Supervisor for the Transitional Support Services program in Massachusetts. This role provides day-to-day clinical oversight to ensure high‑quality patient care in a short‑term residential treatment setting for men in early recovery.

The incumbent will supervise staff, deliver crisis consultation, and collaborate with leadership to refine program design and implement evidence‑based practices, including MAT for opioid use disorders.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in one of the following disciplines or a closely related field required: clinical psychology, mental health, psychology, rehabilitative counseling, social work.
• Two years of supervised substance use disorder counseling experience and at least one-year full time equivalent year of clinical experience in a supervisory role required.
• Independent licensure preferred (LICSW, LMHC, LADC I). Must be on track to obtain independent licensure prior to January 1, 2028.
• Must demonstrate ability to relate to a substance use treatment population in a sensitive manner, and work in a multicultural setting, with a customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical supervision and crisis consultation to staff and interns.
• Maintains knowledge of evidence-based practices including Medication Assisted Treatment for opioid use disorders.
• Provides training and supervision to ensure use of evidence-based practices by clinical staff.
• Monitors and assigns caseloads as needed.
• Chairs the weekly multidisciplinary treatment team meeting and develops strategies to maximize client treatment continuity and compliance.
• Audits clinical documentation for timeliness and regulatory conformance.
