Job summary

Mercy Hospital South is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Weekend Option Clinical Supervisor role on 7W. You will oversee operations and patient care, acting as a clinical resource and stepping in as staff nurse when needed.

This role includes taking on managerial duties delegated by leadership and ensuring Mercy Service Standards are met. The position requires an RN licensure in Missouri (or compact), 3–5 years of hospital nursing experience, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Education options include ADN, diploma or BSN.
• Licensure as an RN in Missouri or compact state required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care.

Location: Mercy Hospital South - 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63128

Schedule: Full-Time | 40 hours/week

Shift: Day Shift | Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following:

• Associate Degree in Nursing
• Nursing Diploma
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Licensure: Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations.

Experience: 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience

Certifications

• Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: BSN preferred
• Licensure: Additional state licensure or specialty certifications preferred
• Experience: Prior management experience - experience within change management

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs. regularly
• Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties
