Job summary

Mercy Hospital South is seeking a Weekend Option Clinical Supervisor (RN) for 7E in St. Louis, MO. This full-time role involves supervising weekend shifts, coordinating patient care, and serving as a clinical resource for staff and patients.

An RN license in Missouri or compact license is required, with 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience. Eligible candidates will have an accredited nursing education (ADN/ Diploma/ BSN) and a current BLS certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the listed qualifications.
• Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations.
• 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or completion within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care in designated areas.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Function as a staff nurse in the department as needed and assume delegated managerial duties.

Registered Nurse (RN) - Weekend Option Clinical Supervisor, 7E

Location: Mercy Hospital South - 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63128

Schedule: Full-Time | 40 hours/week, Nights

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following:

• Associate Degree in Nursing
• Nursing Diploma
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Licensure: Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations.

Experience: 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience

Certifications

• Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: BSN preferred
• Licensure: Additional state licensure or specialty certifications preferred
• Experience: Prior management experience - experience within change management

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs. regularly
• Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties
